The Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs of Kano State, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has received a delegation of the Abba Gida-Gida Progressive Alliance of Councillorship Aspirants from the 44 Local Government Areas of Kano State.
During the visit, the group assured Commissioner Waiya of its 100 per cent support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The delegation expressed its commitment to mobilising support for both the President and the Governor to secure victory for them in the forthcoming 2027 elections.
Responding, Commissioner Waiya commended the group for the visit and assured them of his readiness to work closely with them towards achieving victory for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the administration.

He appreciated the delegation for its support and confidence, while wishing the members success and continued progress in their political engagements.
The Commissioner further encouraged the group to remain united and focused in supporting the administration’s programmes and policies for the benefit of the people of Kano State.
